DAY 1 : Istanbul - Arrival Transfer

DAY 2 : Istanbul

Tour to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Hippodrome

Description : After meeting your tour guide at the lobby of hotel, your Istanbul adventure begins with a trip to the majestic Hagia Sophia, the Church of Divine Wisdom. The church, now a mosque and museum, was originally built by Constantine the Great in the fourth century and later rebuilt by Emperor Justinian to be the flagship Church of the Byzantine Empire. St. Sophia is one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture and is richly decorated with mosaics, marble pillars, and other magnificent adornments. You will also see the Byzantine Hippodrome, once the heart of Constantinople's political and sporting life, and the scene of many athletic games through the history of the Byzantine Empire. Monuments on the site include the Snake Column from Delphi, as well as an Egyptian obelisk taken from the Temple of Karnak at Luxor. You will also visit another of the city’s most recognizable landmarks; the elegant Blue Mosque with its six graceful minarets and superb interior decorated with more than 20,000 blue Iznik tiles. We will then rest for lunch and you will have the opportunity to taste delicious and healthy traditional Turkish foods. Next on the agenda is the Topkapi Palace, a huge walled complex hugging the Bosphorus that was once the palace of Ottoman sultans and is now a museum that houses an extraordinary collection of Chinese porcelain, art, artifacts and jewels including the radiant Topkapi Diamond. Finally you will explore the famous Grand Bazaar, where you can shop or haggle with local merchants over unusual antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry and richly textured fabrics. Afterwards you drive back to your hotel in Istanbul.

DAY 3 : Istanbul - Bursa - Eskisehir

Description : After breakfast you will check out from hotel and drive to Eskihisar port and taking car ferry to Yalova ferry port. While journey by ferry againest to Yalova, enjoying the lovely country and seaside. Ferry takes about an hour and than drive to Bursa which was the former Capital city of ottoman. Visit the historical sites of Bursa. There will be visiting to Ulucami (Grand Mosque), the Green Mosque and the Green Mausoleum, the old Silk Market in the Covered Bazaar. After visited Bursa, you will take your lunch and then continue to the Eskisehir for overnight.

DAY 4 : Eskisehir - Ankara

Description : Today, you will visit the Odunpazari Town and Kursunlu Complex in Eskisehir. The konaks of Odunpazari, historical residences that constitute very special examples of traditional civil architecture, express the family life and traditions of the time. Fountains are also other important urban elements that regulate and shape the traditional patterns of Turkish neighborhoods and social relationships. After lunch you will continue to the Ankara and visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum. You will embark on a chronological journey through Anatolia's past. With relics from different periods of Anatolian history including those from Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze Age, Assyrian, Hittite, Phrygian, Urartian and Lydian civilizations, there are also classical Greek and Roman artifacts on display in a separate section of the museum.

DAY 5 : Ankara - Cappadocia

Tour to Anitkabir, Avanos, Devrent Valley, Three Beautiful Fairy Chimneys Urgup

Description : Early morning departure for visit to the Anitkabir, mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and then continue to the Cappadocia. Avanos is the town of traditional pottery art, thus, you will visit one of the family work-shops in Avanos to have some information about the pottery and have a kick-wheel-pottery demonstration after lunch. Continue to the Devrent Valley, also known as "Imagination Valley", this is the most surreal-looking landscape. The last visit of today will be to the Three Beautiful Fairy Chimneys Urgup. Afterwards you drive to your hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 6 : Cappadocia

Tour to Uchisar Castle, Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin Village, Pasabagi

Description : After breakfast, visit a carpet weaving centre to learn more about the art of Turkish handmade carpets. And then, you will drive to the Goreme Open Air Museum where you can see the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches. Goreme Open Air Museum is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After lunch, the next stop will be Pashabagi also called the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles. The last visit of today will be to the Cavusin Village. Afterwards you drive back to your hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 7 : Cappadocia - Konya - Egirdir

Description : Early morning departure to Derinkuyu Underground City which was built by early Christians fleeing persecution. It extends 8 levels below the ground and is carved out of volcanic rock. And then continue to the Konya. On arrival in Konya, you will have lunch and visit the Mevlâna Museum and Masoleum. Konya is the most religious city in Turkey and is best known for its devout followers of Sufism, which is a sect of Islam, often referred to as “whirling dervishes”. Continue on to the picturesque town of Egirdir which is situated on an inland lake surrounded by mountains. We guarantee that you will be charmed by the beautiful setting.

DAY 8 : Egirdir - Pamukkale - Kusadasi

Description : After breakfast, you will take a short walking tour around the Egirdir Lake and then continue to the Pamukkale’s Travertines and ruins of the ancient Roman spa town of Hierapolis. The World Heritage-listed white travertines stand as a monument to nature’s wonder. Hierapolis has a very large amphitheatre to wander through and the Cleopatra thermal pool allegedly cures almost every ailment known to mankind. After lunch you will continue to the Kusadasi town.

DAY 9 : Kusadasi - Ephesus - Istanbul

Description : This morning you will also visit one of Turkey’s largest leather manufacturers. A 15 minute drive will take us to the port town of Kusadasi. After this visit continue to the House of the Virgin Mary where it is believed to have spent her last years. On November 29th, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed the House of the Virgin Mary at Ephesus to be sacred. Give a break to taste delicious, healty and traditional Turkish foods. You will visit the premiere Greco-Roman City of the ancient world, Ephesus. Explore the Temple of Hadrian, Domitians temple, Hercules gate, famous Celsus Library, Great theater and other Roman sites. After visited amazing ruins of Ephesus, you will continue to the Selcuk Archaeology Museum where you can see a lot ancient furnitures, sculptures, mosaics, frescos and more. Today's last visit will be to the Temple of Artemis, which is the one of the seven wonders of ancient world. Afterwards you drive to Izmir airport for your flight to Istanbul. The accommodation of tonight will be at the your hotel in Istanbul.

Prices are per person and available for accommodation in double or twin share rooms.
This travel package organise in semi-private tour basis and in English. There are max. 15 people on the tour.
The price is subject to availability of economy class flight tickets for the mentioned dates in the itinerary. If there is no economy class flight ticket, Celsus Travel can charge the differences.
If you would like stay at 5 stars hotel or boutique hotels, please inform us about that. The upgrade of hotel category is available for this travel package.
Due to the nature of this tour, this tour is not recommended for guests using a walker or wheelchair, or who have difficulties in walking, climbing, or managing steps.

Discounts & Supplements

A minimum of 2 pax per booking is required. If you are solo traveller, We could charge single room supplement.
There is 50% children discount for ages between 07-12. We charge 50 US$ for ages between 03-06. We do not charge for ages between 00-02.
The guiding language of the tours are English. You may ask to have another languages speaking guides which will depend on availibility.

How Can I Book This Tour ?

We will response your request within 12 hours and send you an official booking & credit card authorization form for your deposit (25%) payment.
Your tour will be confirmed by Celsus Travel after you paid deposit of your tour amount and we will send your confirmation document / vouchers.

Payment Policy

We request min 25% deposit for certain reservation and this payment should be while booking of tour plan.
The balance should be paid by clients before 24 days of departure date. If your booking is made within 24 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
We accept MasterCard, Visa for your payments by credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 24 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is full refund of your payment.
If you cancel between 11 and 23 days prior to departure, we will retain the deposit.
If you cancel within 10 day(s) prior to departure, there will not be any refund.
