" Cesme Port to Izmir Tour " - Our family really enjoyed the Ancient Smyrna Tour with our highly knowledgeable guide Kemal during our trip to Cesme and Izmir. There were many other options but we were so glad we chose Celsus Travel as they are very responsive in our email inquires, with clear instructions to when and where to meet. The tour itself was amazing, we were so overwhelmed by places in the Izmir that were not open to general public without previous arrangements. Our guide Kemal provided not only accurate historical background of the locations, but he also pointed out facts only a historian can provide given his studies in Turkish and Greek history. Anyone visiting Cesme must not pass on the opportunity provided by Celsus Travel to have this unforgettable experience. Chris L - Reviewed May 22, 2016

Ephesus Shared Tour from Kusadasi Port

About Cesme Port

Arrival is Cesme will likely be by tender as the small port and marina do not have a berth large enough for most cruise ships. The tender dock is across a small marina from the commercial center of town which is next to the Cesme Castle, the area's most impressive historic attraction which houses two historical museums. Cesme and the surrounding peninsula are a center of beach tourism with impressive resorts and spas, seaaonal homes for wealthy Turks and foreigners and windswept beaches.
